Abstract
Two techniques can be proposed to preserve ovaries in gynaecological cancers: ovarian transposition (which aims at placing the ovaries outside the irradiation area in young woman before radiotherapy) and conservative surgery saving at least the womb and a part of one ovary in ovarian malignancies. Indications and oncologic results of these two techniques are reviewed.
