Morphological analysis of lesion contours on contrast-enhanced mammography: A case report

    Abstract

When a contrast-enhanced mammography is indicated, the radiologist must interpret it by analysing the images taken at low energy, contrast-enhanced images, and supplementing with ultrasound when necessary. The report must provide a summary of these exams. If a lesion has suspicious morphological characteristics, it should be biopsied, even in the absence of lesion enhancement on the contrast-enhanced image.
