N2 - Magnetic resonance imaging has been the only modality of injected breast imaging available for a longtime, but in recent years, it has been demonstrated that contrast-enhanced mammography has many advantages associated with high diagnostic performance. In France, breast contrast imaging is indicated in several situations well codified by the Haute Autorité de santé (French health authority) and the Institut national du cancer. In this article, we develop the different indications validated in France and we review the main points of difference with the European and American indications.
