Résumé

The 22nd ISPOR (International society for pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research) conference was held in Boston, May 20-24, 2017. A group of pharmacists, physicians and health economists attended the conference and reported some of the highlights. At this conference, there were several sessions patient centred. The place of social networks in healthcare was presented in a playful and innovative way. Consideration of patient preferences was also discussed in economic evaluation studies and in decision-making. Finally, some sessions put emphasis on patients' medication compliance and adherence to improve efficiency of patient management. In this article, the authors discuss the following questions from the different sessions and/or posters: What effects of social interactions and social networks on our health? How to capture patients' preferences and what place in the drug evaluation process? How to measure medication compliance and adherence and for which impacts?.
