Résumé
The diagnosis of endometriosis is overall clinical. However, during the two last decades, the imaging tandem formed by ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging has allowed a more rational and less invasive management (medical treatment, surgery or a combination of both) leading to less cœlioscopies as well than a better information for the patient. Ultrasound - first step after the clinical examen - is the imaging modality of choice the diagnose endometriomas and bladder locations but also for the differential diagnosis. Magnetic resonance imaging - second step - is the best imaging modality for giving a precise mapping of all the sites, especially of the deep lesions and is crucial for planning the surgical complex management of deep endometriosis.
