Résumé
Fiberoptic bronchoscopy guarantees the safety of tracheal intubation in patients with difficult airway. The procedure has been improved by a better control of sedation. The maintenance of the expertise is mandatory in the field of anaesthesia. Alternative techniques using videolaryngoscopes convey some risk that need to be evaluated.
