Résumé

Limb perfusions are used in the treatment of several types of locally advanced cancers of the limbs (sarcoma, melanoma, epidermoid and Merkel cell carcinoma). In the treatment of sarcomas, this technique can be used as a neoadjuvant therapy to reduce the volume of the tumour. It enables the second stage, less mutilating excision surgery, to be carried out and also localised relapses in the limb to be treated in order to avoid amputation.
