    Résumé

The early functional evaluation of new targeted therapies in oncology is a major goal of functional imaging. At present, technical advances in Doppler ultrasonography allow the detection of neovascularization in superficial and deep malignant tumours in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new treatments such as antiangiogenic drugs. Injecting contrast agents increases the effectiveness of this kind of therapy, and developments in perfusion software have optimized detection. It is possible to detect slow flow in tumour microvessels. Treatment response can be predicted early, based on changes in vascularization before volume modification, by calculating peak intensity, time to peak intensity, area under the curve, and the wash-in slope coefficient.
