    Résumé

The principle of chemotherapy in intra-arterial hepatic is to increase the local concentration of cytotoxic chemotherapy by limiting systemic toxicity. The infusion takes place in hepatic artery downstream arterial branches for digestion. The arterial line is connected to a chamber implanted subcutaneously to allow for repeated sessions of chemotherapy. The percutaneous approach is now a reliable and reproducible technique for teams of trained interventional radiologists. The surgical approach is currently reserved when intra-arterial chemotherapy is decided after a liver hepatic resection.
