Résumé
Clinical research is based on stringent rules and interactions with several national organizations for financial and regulatory issues. The organization of clinical research in thoracic oncology should allow each patient to benefit from innovative (therapeutic) strategies, and each investigator to participate in the trials of academic groups or pharmaceutical companies. This is especially important when studying a disease associated with such a poor prognosis. This review summarizes the different aspects of the organization, the regulation and the financing of clinical research and presents the main ongoing or future clinical trials to be undertaken in France.
