Résumé
Malignant transformation, tumor progression and resistance to cancer therapy often occur in the context of disabled cell death signaling. Here we describe the major mechanisms of cell death regulation in mammalian cells and discuss the pathophysiologic and therapeutic implications of their deregulation in the course of oncogenesis.
