    Résumé

Low malignant potential ovarian tumor (LMPOT) represent 10% to 20% of epithelial ovarian tumors. Most important factors are: stage of disease, type of peritoneal implants (in patients with stage > I) and the presence of residual disease after surgery. Prognosis of patients with stage I LMPOT and/or patients with non invasive implants is excellent. Presence of a nodal involvement does not seem to affect the survival. Treatment is based on surgery with conservative one in young patients desiring a fertility preserving surgery. Adjuvant chemotherapy should be delivered only in (rare) cases of patients with invasive peritoneal implants.
