Résumé
A 74-year-old woman was referred to our department after a limited surgical excision for a vulvar melanoma with a Breslow thickness of 5 mm and a Clark level of invasion of IV. A superficial right hemivulvectomy, a partial resection of the left labium minus and a superficial right inguinal node dissection were performed. Histologically it consisted in an incompletely resected unclassified mucosal and cutaneous melanoma of the right hemivulva. Some lentigo and many syringoma located in the derma were also observed. A micrometastasis was found in one of the ten nodes. A positron emission tomography showed a fixation on a right iliac primitive node and on an external right iliac node. An additional surgical right hemivulvectomy and a laparotomy with an iliac lymph node dissection were performed. The coexistence of vulvar melanoma and vulvar syringoma has never been reported. In the present observation, vulvar syringoma have been diagnosed fortuitously since lesions were not detectable clinically.
