Résumé
Transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) is a canonical immunosuppressive cytokine secreted by tumors. In this issue of Immunity, Stephen etal. (2014) reveal that tumor-derived TGF-β deactivates antitumor CD8+ Tcell responses through Tcell upregulation of the FoxP1 transcription factor.
