Résumé
In recent years, the management of chemotherapy-induced emesis in children has been greatly modified by the introduction of a new therapeutic class: serotonin antagonists. Based on a better knowledge of mechanisms, the treatment now uses combinations of different drugs. These treatments need to be carefully adapted to the patient and to the emetic risk of the chemotherapy, also taking into account the minimal cost. A gradual treatment proposal in five steps is decribed.
